- Sauté Sausage
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage slices and cook until browned on both sides (about 5 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Cook Onions & Apples
- In the same skillet, add butter and olive oil. Add sliced onions and cook until soft and caramelized (about 5–7 minutes). Add apple slices and cook until tender.
- Add Sweetness
- Stir in caramel sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well-coated and glossy.
- Combine
- Return sausage to the skillet and toss everything together. Let cook another 2–3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve
- Serve warm, drizzled with extra caramel and sprinkled with chopped parsley or nuts if desired.

Choose mild or apple-flavored sausage for the best flavor balance.
