Ingredients
  

  • For the Sliders
  • 2 cups cooked pulled pork or shredded chicken
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup apple butter
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional
  • 8 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter melted, for toasting buns

Method
 

  1. Make the Sauce
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix BBQ sauce, apple butter, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until smooth and warmed through.
  3. Add the Meat
  4. Stir in pulled pork (or chicken). Simmer for 5–7 minutes until hot and fully coated in sauce.
  5. Toast the Buns
  6. Lightly brush slider buns with melted butter and toast on a skillet or in the oven until golden.
  7. Assemble the Sliders
  8. Spoon the sweet BBQ filling onto the bottom buns. Add any toppings you like, then place the top bun.
  9. Serve Warm
  10. Serve immediately for the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and savory!
