- Heat the Base
- In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, pumpkin purée, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until smooth and warm (do not boil).
- Add Chocolate & Spices
- Stir in chocolate chips, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Whisk until melted and creamy.
- Finish & Flavor
- Remove from heat, then stir in vanilla extract for a smooth finish.
- Serve & Decorate
- Pour into mugs. Top with whipped cream, a chocolate drizzle, and spooky sprinkles or marshmallows.
Notes
For a vegan version, use oat milk or almond milk and vegan chocolate chips.
Add a splash of espresso for a mocha twist.
Stir in a dash of cayenne pepper for a spooky little kick!
