  • 1 flatbread crust or thin pizza dough
  • 1 ripe pear thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 tbsp honey for drizzle
  • ¼ cup arugula or baby spinach optional for topping
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts optional for crunch

Method
 

  1. Preheat & Prep
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Roast the Pears
  4. Toss pear slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange on the flatbread.
  5. Add the Cheese
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly, then add crumbled gorgonzola on top.
  7. Bake
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  9. Finish & Serve
  10. Drizzle with honey, add arugula or walnuts if desired, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Substitute blue cheese for gorgonzola if preferred.
Add prosciutto for a gourmet touch.
Use balsamic glaze instead of honey for a tangy finish.
