Ingredients
  

  • 🍡 Matcha Soak:
  • 1Β½ cups warm water
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar optional

  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • πŸͺ Layers:
  • 20 –24 ladyfinger biscuits
  • πŸƒ Topping:
  • Matcha powder for dusting

Method
 

  1. Prepare matcha mixture
  2. Whisk matcha powder with warm water until smooth. Add sugar if desired and let cool.
  3. Make cream filling
  4. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla. Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone.
  5. Dip ladyfingers
  6. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the matcha mixture (don’t soak too long).
  7. Layer dessert
  8. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a dish. Spread half of the cream mixture on top. Repeat layers.
  9. Chill
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight preferred).
  11. Finish
  12. Dust generously with matcha powder before serving.
