Prepare matcha mixture
Whisk matcha powder with warm water until smooth. Add sugar if desired and let cool.
Make cream filling
Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla. Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone.
Dip ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the matcha mixture (donβt soak too long).
Layer dessert
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a dish. Spread half of the cream mixture on top. Repeat layers.
Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight preferred).
Finish
Dust generously with matcha powder before serving.
