Ingredients
  

  • For the Sangria
  • 1 bottle 750 ml red wine (Merlot or Pinot Noir)
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup pumpkin purée
  • ¼ cup brandy optional
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey to taste
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 apple diced
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • ½ cup sparkling water or ginger ale for fizz
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish

Method
 

  1. Mix the Base
  2. In a large pitcher, whisk together red wine, cranberry juice, orange juice, pumpkin purée, and brandy until smooth.
  3. Add Flavor & Fruit
  4. Stir in maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and the sliced fruits (cranberries, orange, apple).
  5. Chill & Infuse
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  7. Serve
  8. Pour into glasses filled with ice. Top with sparkling water or ginger ale if desired. Garnish with cinnamon sticks or orange slices.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, use sparkling grape juice or cranberry soda instead of wine and brandy.
Adjust sweetness with more or less maple syrup.
Use white wine for a lighter, fruitier version.
Serve chilled or over ice for best flavor.
