Ingredients
  

  • 🍰 Sponge Cake:
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 50 ml milk
  • 50 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 🧁 Frosting:
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 🎨 Decoration:
  • Food coloring optional
  • Sprinkles or simple piping

Method
 

  1. Prepare batter
  2. Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk, oil, and vanilla.
  3. Add dry ingredients
  4. Sift in flour and baking powder. Mix gently.
  5. Bake
  6. Pour into a small pan and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 18–20 minutes.
  7. Cool
  8. Let cake cool completely, then cut into 2 layers.
  9. Make frosting
  10. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  11. Assemble
  12. Spread cream between layers and cover the cake with a thin coat.
  13. Decorate
  14. Keep it minimal—simple messages or pastel designs.
